Our Story

Rotaract Club of Kasthamandap was formed by a group of young people in Kathmandu who wanted to turn their energy into service, chartered under Rotary International, District 3292.

Our parent club is the Rotary Club of Kasthamandap, which sponsors and guides us as we grow our own projects and leadership within the district.

We take our name from Kasthamandap, the centuries-old pavilion in Kathmandu Durbar Square said to be built from the wood of a single tree - a symbol of community effort that still stands at the heart of the city today.

Our Mission

To provide young people the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills, address the physical and social needs of their community, and promote better relations between all people through a framework of friendship and service.
